This thick-walled bowl-shaped object, in the primary colors red yellow and blue, was made in memory of Jackson Pollock who is considered worldwide to be one of the most prominent figures in the Abstract Expressionist movement. His signature style know as "drip painting" or "action painting," is a characteristic feature of the movement in the mid-20th century.
