On the occasion of the exhibition 'The Thinker thinks again' at the Singer Museum Laren, Richard Rooze, has designed several object in limited series. The Laren copy of The Thinker was badly damaged by thieves in 2007. The statue was retrieved with parts missing and cuts to the head. This inspired the artist to take a cross-section of the brain as point of departure. It resulted in a series of platters and vases in various colors schemes. They are blown freely without the use of a mould. Each piece has an individual pattern.
