2011, Spinning Dress.

Laren, the Netherlands 2011. The autumn of 2011 began with a brilliant exhibition with only the best works of Jan Sluijters. The more than 80 works were on display at the Singer Museum, Laren. For this exhibition, Richard Rooze made a number of glass designs inspired by the works of the innovators of the Dutch painting of the early 20th century. The Spanish dancer dating from 1907, a period when the Art Nouveau on its way out and Sluijters focuses on the avant garde Fauvist style. The vase with its contemporary forms and stylistic elements from this period is in a limited number made.
