yellow house, 2010

Glass Sculpture by Richard Rooze and Jarda Wasserbauer. The yellow house, 2 Place Lamartine, Arles France, the house where Vincent van Gogh lived from Februari,1888 untill April,1889. The sculpture not only represents the physical 'Yellow House', as Vincent called his accommodation in Arles, but in addition the tiny bubbles in the glass seem to reflect the many ideas and fantasies that surfaced in his mind. As the result of a cooperation project between Richard Rooze & Jarda Wasserbauer a second series of 'Yellow House' version 1 was made in a limited edition of 100 pieces. Title 'The Yellow House'. 'Version two', (a different version). Color: yellow. Technique: cast glass; partly polished.

measurements height: 11cm; width: 6cm; depth: 7cm.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
