1RR 5.10 V2 - The Yellow House
Richard Rooze & Jarda Wasserbauer
The Yellow House, 2010 version 2
Glass Sculpture by Richard Rooze and Jarda Wasserbauer. Yellow house, 2 Place Lamartine, Arles France, the house where Vincent van Gogh lived from Februari,1888 untill April,1889. The sculpture not only represents the physical 'Yellow House', as Vincent called his accommodation in Arles, but in addition the tiny bubbles in the glass seem to reflect the many ideas and fantasies that surfaced in his mind. As the result of a cooperation project between Richard Rooze & Jarda Wasserbauer a second series of 'The Yellow House' version two was made in a limited edition of 100 pieces
